Welcome to Ink Master

Hello!

My name is Harlee Nelson, I am the President and CEO of Ink Master Specialty Printing.

 

My parents, Steve and Pam Nelson started Ink Master back in 2011, and it is an honor and privilege to now call it my own. As founders, they began this journey with very little knowledge of the print industry, however had other successful, established businesses, that ultimately paved the way for where we stand today. Over time, life got in the way and business began to halt - as it so often does, and they began to discuss selling the company in 2023.

I had always dreamed of owning my own business and following in their entrepreneurial footsteps. As they were on the verge of letting this company go, I saw this as my opportunity to follow that dream. I convinced them to give me a shot at reviving this company, even though I too had little-to-no experience in the industry and honestly, had no idea what I was doing. 

​

In 2024 I took over running the business, still under their ownership, just in hopes of bringing it back to life. By the grace of God, doors began to open and I jumped at every opportunity to learn and grow in this industry. The more we began to grow, it became more of a stress for them to play an active role in the business. So in 2026 they decided to go ahead and sell the company... to me!​ I took over as President in early 2026, and have continued to grow and build more than I could have ever imagined.

 

With the sudden change in ownership - I have spent much time rebranding, understanding the ins and outs of business ownership, building skill sets, learning, networking and connecting with so many new aspects of the print industry.

When I became owner, I needed to take a step back and determine what I really wanted from Ink Master. I took my time, researched, journaled and prayed - a lot. I've always wanted to be a business owner, yes, but I wanted my business to have meaning, impact, and connection. I had to determine how to do that in a space I wasn't familiar with. 

​

Over the past year, I've determined that Ink Master is not just a custom apparel company, or a promotional products company. Even though we may do those things well, most importantly, we are a company that cares deeply for other businesses, organizations, and people as a whole. We are a brand that desires to build meaningful connections with our customers, vendors, and peers. We are a business built on integrity, precision, quality, trust and compassion. We are a company that truly cares for your brand, as if it was our own.

As we continue to grow - our promise is to remain true to these values. We may specialize in providing the best quality products and services, but our purpose is connection, and to build life-long partnerships in helping you represent your brand well.
